Have print-ready files? The quickest way to get started is to email them to us — we'll review the files, send a proof, and confirm your quote. Here's how to make sure your files print perfectly.
Email your files to mike@crownpressmn.com with a short note about the project — quantity, size, and deadline. If your files are too large to email (over about 20–25 MB), let us know and we'll set up another way to get them, or you can drop off a USB drive at the shop.
Following these keeps your job moving without back-and-forth. Not sure about any of it? Send what you have — we'll check it and tell you what's needed.
A high-resolution, print-ready PDF with fonts embedded gives the most predictable result. We can also work from common design files.
Photos and graphics should be 300 DPI at final size. Images pulled from a website are usually too low-resolution to print sharply.
If color runs to the edge, add 1/8" (0.125") bleed on all sides so nothing white shows after trimming.
Embed fonts in your PDF, or outline/convert text to curves so type prints exactly as designed.
Print uses CMYK, not the RGB your screen shows. We'll convert if needed, but designing in CMYK avoids color surprises.
Tell us the finished size, quantity, paper preference, and any folding or finishing so the proof matches your intent.
Don't have artwork, or not sure your file is ready? Our in-house graphic design team can build your piece from scratch or make your existing files print-ready. Just ask.
